Terms of purchase and cancellation
Room and accommodation reservations
Room and accommondation bookings can be cancelled until 4 pm 24 hours prior to arrival. If your cancellation is made later than 4pm 24 hours prior to arrival, the reservation will be considered a “no show” and the price for the first night will be invoiced in full. Cancellations must be made in writing, stating the reservation number, name, address, telephone number and your date of arrival. The cancellation must be emailed to hindsgavl@hindsgavl.dk
Group reservations
When booking 10 or more rooms, the following cancellation policies apply:
Deadline for free cancellation / reduction of people and/or rooms.
- 30 days before arrival:
Up to 100% of the original reservation can be cancelled free of charge. - 21 days before arrival:
Up to 50% of the original reservation can be cancelled free of charge. - 14 days before arrival:
Up to 25% of the original reservation can be cancelled free of charge. - 48 hours before arrival:
Up to 10 % of the original reservation can be cancelled free of charge.
Cancellation and/or reduction later than 48 hours before arrival, will be invoiced in full.
Please note that payment by credit card is subject to a fee in accordance with Danish law.
Gift cards
Hindsgavl Castle collaborates with Life Peaks ApS on unique gift cards sales. Life Peaks is solely responsible for the distribution of the gift cards. Hindsgavl Castle provides the service and is responsible for fulfilling the agreement.
Payment
You have the option of paying with a credit card, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Mobile Pay. A handling fee of 10, – pr. gift card. There is no card fee on your payment. Payment is done through a secured connection; the information is encrypted and cannot be accessed by others.
Validity
The following validity applies to gift cards issued by Hindsgavl Castle:
- Gift cards for specific amounts: Valid for 36 months from the date of issue
- Gift cards for experiences, etc.: Valid for 12 months from the date of issue
Right of withdrawal
Purchase of gift cards in accordance to the Danish Consumer Act, is associated with a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the time you have received the order confirmation from Life Peaks ApS by e-mail.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you can contact Life Peaks customer service by contacting lifepeaks@lifepeaks.dk, remember to provide information about the unique code. The full amount will be returned within 2 business days to the same credit card with which the gift card was purchased, provided that the time limit for the right of withdrawal is met and is ensured that the gift card has not been redeemed. Only the buyer – not the recipient – receives the right of withdrawal. If the gift card has been redeemed by the gift card recipient, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. For security reasons, amounts are only refunded to the buyer’s account.
