The classic castle style rooms are pompous in their expression with chandeliers, oriental carpets, and classicism-style furniture. These rooms are full of history, and if you desire an authentic castle atmosphere, these are the rooms to choose.
Castle style rooms
In these rooms you will find a high-quality decoration with a historical touch, for example in the wallpapers, which are of the same paper type, colours and texture as in the 1860-70’s. To do the exquisite wallpaper justice, the rest of the décor is kept simple and light in shape and colour, and the monochrome textiles match the colours of the wallpapers.
Modern rooms in the old stables
The rooms in the old Cowhouse and Pig house are modern in their expression. Here, elements from the original stable buildings are combined with modern hotel solutions. The exposed walls made of recycled bricks make up a contrast to the white ceilings and beautifully fabric covered headboards. Round, freestanding shower units give a sculptural look to the rooms.
Rooms in the old Tenant house
You find the old Tenant house in continuation of the stables, and the rooms here are interpreted in a more homely look, with wooden floors, mullioned windows, and light painted walls. The decor is similar to that of the stables, but here the homely touch shines through in the headboards and darker furniture.
