Regardless of your purpose for visiting Hindsgavl Slot, our chefs in the Castle Kitchen will do their best to complete the experience with delicious food. Made from scratch, often using ingredients from our vast kitchen garden of approx. 10,000 square metres.
If you have booked a stay with a menu included, this menu is set in advance. Please contact reception for more information about this menu. Usually, the food will be served below the impressive wooden beams in the Castle Barn. You can add our suggested wine pairing or explore our extensive wine list for yourself.
In the cosy Castle Café, you can choose between simple and tasty dishes with a classic style based on great ingredients. We recommend that you book a table in advance.

Fresh from our own kitchen garden
Nothing tastes better than newly harvested, home-grown vegetables! For this reason, we have our own kitchen garden of approx. 10.000 m2, tended to by our two gardeners.
When the seasons allow it, we use fruits, vegetables, and herbs from our vast kitchen garden. Both raw, prepared, and pickled, so that we benefit from the produce all year round. Have you ever tasted pickled walnuts? Or fresh honey from Hindsgavl? You see, we also keep bees. We extract the honey immediately after the flowers bloom, resulting in the loveliest, light honey with a very delicate taste.
