Renewed energy doesn’t just happen on its own. At Hindsgavl Castle, you can enjoy the peace, tranquillity, and each other’s company in beautiful, historic, and scenic surroundings – far away from everyday life. You can look forward to being pampered with exquisite food from the castle kitchen, made from scratch using fresh ingredients, often from our own kitchen garden.
Feel the calm descend with a hand-in-hand walk in our beautiful castle park, along the sea at the foot of the castle, or on the paths in the adjacent Deer Park, where you can get up close to red deer and roe deer. Or how about a refreshing dip from the castle’s private beach with its secluded jetty?
Our foremost task is to pamper you, ensuring ample space and an attentive atmosphere around you.

The Weekday Getaway includes:
- Arrival from 2:00 PM
- A drink in the bar before or after dinner, choose from 3 selected drinks
- Dinner with 3 courses, generally served in the Castle barn – subject to change
- Accommodation in a standard double room in the castle’s side wings
- Breakfast with homemade delicacies in the Castle barn

Arrival is possible on weekdays from Monday to Thursday. The Weekday Getaway can be booked in the periods March-June and August-December.

A weekday escape at Hindsgavl Castle is more than your standard hotel stay for 2. Staying with us, you will get plenty of space, light and fresh sea air. Regardless of the season, the scenic surroundings offer a variety of experiences.
Our 40,000 m2 castle park is one of Denmark’s most beautiful gardens. Here you can stroll hand in hand, along the water – and perhaps continue into the woods and the deer park. This way you can work up an appetite for dinner, just as you have the opportunity to order a light lunch or delicious home baked goods.
The Hindsgavl peninsula, Middelfart and the Little Belt offer something for everyone. When you are done exploring nature on foot, you can go on a whale safari on the sea or get an adrenaline kick from Bridgewalking across the Old Bridge high above the Little Belt. You can also visit museums or the charming old town centre of Middelfart.
A spontaneous escape from your everyday life
It is our job to pamper you and make sure your stay becomes a special, unforgettable experience. Whether it is the gardener in the kitchen garden, the chef by the buffet, or the receptionist who takes care of you, we are all at your disposal – ready to help you during your stay.
