Sunday Stay at Hindsgavl Castle
Unwind completely and let yourself be pampered in our calm, beautiful and recharging surroundings. With historic buildings, the forest, the Deer Park, and the sea right outside the door, you have the best conditions to take the Sunday vibe to a whole new level – from walks, architecture, and contemplation, to time and pure presence with each other.
Once you’ve arrived and settled in, we welcome you with coffee and cake from the castle kitchen. Before dinner, we invite you to enjoy a glass of bubbly at your table in restaurant The White Lady, overlooking the castle park and the water, where you might have just enjoyed a refreshing stroll. For dinner, you can choose 2 well-prepared courses from the a la carte menu in The White Lady.
The next morning, we serve our popular breakfast filled with delicacies from the local area and our own kitchen garden, before we bid you farewell.

The Sunday Stay consists of:
- Arrival from 2:00 PM
- Afternoon coffee and the cake of the day from the castle kitchen
- 1 glass of bubbly served at the table before dinner
- Dinner at the castle with 2 dishes of your choice from the a la carte menu in the restaurant The White Lady
- Spend the night in a stable room in The Pig barn or in The Tenant’s House
- Breakfast with homemade delicacies
Prices
Price per person in a shared double room DKK 1.250,-
Price per person in a single room DKK 1.450,-
For children from 0-2 years, only breakfast is included. If you would like additional meals, you can purchase them by contacting reception.
The stay can be booked on most Sundays from 8 March to December, with the exception of the summer period from late June to mid-August.
There may be a few exceptions.

Intimate dinner at The White Lady
You can look forward to sitting down at our cosy restaurant Den Hvide Dame in the side wing of the historic main building – with a view of the beautiful castle park and the Little Belt in the background. Den Hvide Dame is bright, modern and offers the very special Hindsgavl atmosphere of personal pampering from the moment you sit down at the table until we say bon appétit and goodbye. Our passionate chefs create seasonal dishes inspired by Nordic cuisine, where local and organic ingredients play the leading role.

A holiday stay at Hindsgavl Slot is more than your standard hotel stay for 2. On a mini holiday with us you will get plenty of space, light and fresh air. Regardless of the season, the scenic surroundings offer a variety of experiences.
Our 40,000 m2 castle park is one of Denmark’s most beautiful gardens. Here you can stroll hand in hand, along the water – and perhaps continue on into the woods and the nearby deer park. This way, you can work up an appetite for dinner, just as you have the opportunity to order a light lunch or delicious home baked goods.
The Hindsgavl peninsula, Middelfart and the Little Belt offer something for everyone. When you are done exploring nature on foot, you can go on a whale safari on the Little Belt or get an adrenaline kick from Bridgewalking across the Old Bridge above the Little Belt. You can also visit museums or the charming old town centre of Middelfart.
Spontaneous getaway away from it all
Our most important job is to pamper you and make sure your stay becomes a special, unforgettable experience. Whether it is the gardener in the kitchen garden, the chef by the buffet, or the receptionist who takes care of you, we are all at your disposal, ready to help you during your stay.

Unique surroundings with a great history
Hindsgavl Castle is truly one of a kind. It features both classicist architecture, with the main building dating back to the 1700s, and modern, completely renovated, raw design in the castle barn and farm buildings. The castle’s dramatic history dates back to the 12th century, and several legends from that time are still told as part of the castle’s history.
