Hindsgavl Castle – in the center of Danmark
In Middelfart, on the northwestern part of the central island, Funen, Hindsgavl Castle is situated in unique surroundings with roots back to the middle ages. The castle has a dramatic history with wars and destructions, but today it operates as a modern conference hotel, with top-of-the-line conference facilities for both small and large groups of guests.
The castle has undergone a comprehensive renovation and modernization during the recent 10 years – both the castle itself and the surrounding stables and barn, that now function as exclusive conference facilities and hotel rooms.

The landscape surrounding Hindsgavl Castle is some of Denmark’s finest. From the foot of the castle, you can see the glittering waters of the Little Belt thru the old trees of the castle park. On the other side, the castle’s land lies next to Hindsgavl Dyrehave (a deer park), which consists of a fenced area of 165 acres. Here you have the perfect opportunity to go for a walk, run or bicycle trip and encounter deer and does, beautiful forests, water holes and magnificent slopes.
